GCSE DANCE

GCSE Dance

The South London Dance Academy is delighted to introduce our new GCSE Dance Course — a comprehensive and inspiring programme designed for students who are passionate about dance and ready to take their training to the next level.

This course offers a balanced approach, combining practical performance and choreography with the study of professional dance works. Students will develop strong technical foundations, creativity, musicality, and confidence, while gaining a deeper understanding of dance as both an art form and an academic subject.

Led by experienced teachers in a supportive and focused environment, the course is designed to nurture each student’s individual strengths and prepare them for successful examination outcomes.

This course is ideal for pupils in Years 9 and 10 who are unable to access GCSE Dance within their secondary school, as well as those wishing to take on an additional GCSE to complement their future qualifications.

Alongside dance training, students will also develop discipline, resilience and independent learning skills, supporting success both within and beyond the studio.
